L 410 UVP-E20 on its way to Kazakhstan

On October 7, 2019, an L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft with serial number 3211 flew from our airport to its new owner in Kazakhstan. The new aircraft is equipped with an autopilot and the TCAS II collision avoidance system, and has an enlarged luggage compartment.

This is the second L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft that Aircraft Industries delivered to our Kazakh partners. The operator of the new aircraft - Zhezkazgan-Air airline is based at Zhezkazgan airport in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan. This region has a sharply continental and extremely arid climate, located on the conditional border of the desert and semi-desert zones, but in such difficult climatic conditions, the L 410 successfully performs its functions.

Our aircraft have been successfully flying in this region for a long time. The Dzhezkazgan United Air Squadron (DOAE) began operating first L 410 aircraft back in 1983. In 1996, the Zhezkazgan-Air airline was organized on the basis of the DOAE and Zhezkazgan airport. Currently, Zhezkazgan-Air Airlines is owned by Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, the largest copper producer in Kazakhstan, a leading international company for the extraction and processing of natural resources.
