Paris Airshow 2023

From June 19 to 25, the prestigious international Paris Airshow, which is one of the largest aviation and space events in the world, took place at the French airport Le Bourget after a four-year break. The Aircraft Industries company presented itself here alongside the other companies of the OMNIPOL group - ERA, MESIT and AERO Vodochody, not only at the joint Czech pavillion stand but also at an outdoor static display with the L 410 NG aircraft.

The Czech presentation was sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Paris, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and in cooperation with the Association of the Aerospace Industry of the Czech Republic.

On the occasion of the opening of the Paris Air Show, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Jozef Síkela, attended the reception organized by French President Emmanuel Macron and then came to greet the representatives of the exhibiting companies present. The delegation of the Ministry of Defense was led by Radka Kondrlová, director of the industrial cooperation section. Czech companies were supported by their visit, among others, by representatives of the Army of the Czech Republic, headed by the commander of the Air Force, Maj. Gen. Petr Cepelka or the commander of the Caslavska 21st base of the tactical air force, col. Jaroslav Toman. A hundred important domestic and foreign delegations visited our exhibition.

The L 410 NG aircraft, which was on display on the outdoor area, garnered huge interest from the audience. The aircraft crew was also available by the aircraft to answer all questions of the visitors.

The L 410 aircraft was presented at the Paris Airshow already in 1975, when it presented the first version of the L 410 turbolet aircraft, which was only a year after its first flight, and the last participation was in 2015 with the L 410 UVP-E20 aircraft.

This year's 54th edition was attended by more than 2,500 exhibitors from 46 countries, and over 300,000 visitors took turns on the premises during the exhibition, including 322 official delegations from 100 different countries. On the exhibition area of 125,000 square meters, 150 types of different aircraft were presented, including helicopters, unmanned vehicles, transport aircraft and fighters.

Thanks to its fame and scale, the Paris Air Show offered a number of new business meetings as well as the renewal of personal contacts with existing customers.
